As a classroom art educator, I motivated students for over 25 years to embrace their creative voice. I continued to have enthusiasm as an educator through the years by reinvigorating my instruction through the exploration of new pedagogy. The Choice-Based art studio approach to teaching became my new passion. I am available to coach art educators in transitioning to a Choice-Based studio at the level they are comfortable with.

The art room is arranged with “learning centers” for each medium. Centers include procedures, instructions, student and masterwork examples, and art-making supplies. Here, the student artists make choices for responding to their own ideas and interests through art-making.
